HILLS ("we", "us") operates https://hillsmusic.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and how we use it.
Data that partners and their artists put into the HILLS workspace — catalog, contributors, statements and payout details — is handled under each partner's signed agreement, not this policy.
Data we collect
- Contact requests. Name, work email, company, website and the details you write in our forms.
- Campaign data. The ad or link that brought you to the site (UTM parameters, click identifiers) attached to your request.
- Usage data. Pages viewed, device and browser information and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Cookies and advertising tools
We may use Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure traffic and the performance of our advertising, and to show our ads to people who visited this site. These providers may set cookies and process data under their own privacy policies. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Google and Meta ad settings, or block cookies in your browser. Details of each cookie are in our cookie policy.
How we use data
- To reply to your request and prepare a commercial proposal.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To meet legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that host this website, deliver email and provide the analytics tools above.
Security
Partner accounts sign in with passkeys or a second factor, staff access is role-based and changes to releases, splits, payouts and permissions are logged. All traffic is encrypted in transit and bank details are encrypted at rest and shown masked. Access to production data is limited to our operations staff.
Found a vulnerability? Email security@hillsmusic.com with the details. Please don't access other accounts' data or disrupt the service while testing; we reply to every report.
Retention
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any resulting business relationship, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing partners@hillsmusic.com.
