Royalties & payouts

Reading your statement

How monthly statements are put together.

Updated October 6, 2026

Each month we import the reports stores send us, match each line to a recording and produce your statement.

What a statement shows

  • Store and territory — where the revenue came from.
  • Units — streams, downloads or other usage the store reported.
  • Gross and net — revenue before and after the distribution fee agreed in your contract.
  • Recording — the track each line belongs to.

Unmatched lines

Occasionally a store reports a line we can’t match to a recording, for example because of a code mismatch. These lines appear in Royalties → Unmatched and are added to your statement once matched.

Why amounts change month to month

Stores report on their own schedules and sometimes send corrections for earlier periods. Both show up in the statement for the month they arrive.
